Measuring Guide and Terms

Projection:
The distance from the face of the house to the face of the front wall of your new sunroom.   

Width:
The distance of the front wall of the sunroom, from corner to corner.

Height:
The distance from the mounting surface to the topside of the sunroom roof.  This dimension should be taken to the top mounting face.

Mounting Face: 
The area of the existing house to which the sunroom roof will attached.

Mounting Surface:
A concrete pad or wood deck that is level and constructed to local building codes.

Eave:
The height of where the sunroom front wall meets the sunroom roof panels.

Gable End Glass
Gable end glass is provided with the gabled roof option for the front wall.

Right and Left Walls:
Looking at the mounting face indicates the right and left walls of your sunroom.

Kneewall:
Constructed of glass in an aluminum frame and is fixed at a height of 2’ – 0”.  When the knee wall option is selected on any or all walls, sliding windows will be provided to sit on the top of the knee wall frame.

Wing Panel:
Refers to the aluminum clad panel used above windows or doors on the right and left walls of the sunroom.
